Bred by Dr. Felicitas Svejda (Canada, 1969).
Introduced in Canada by Agriculture Canada, Ottawa, Ontario (Central Experimental Farm) in 1977 as 'Elmira'.

Hybrid Rugosa, Shrub.  
Bloom:
Red, white center.  Clusters of 15 to 20.  Strong fragrance.  25 petals.  Average diameter 2".  Medium, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  
Growing:
USDA zone 4a and warmer.
