Notes:
This rose has an interesting story attached to it. This rose was named after the then President of Garden Clubs of American. The Breeder was later contacted in 1991 by the White House to have it included in the White House Rose Garden. All the plants other than those given to Violet Dawson and budded for the White House were then destroyed to make it a unique rose. After President George HW Bush lost his bid for re-election the decision was make not to add it to the garden.
