Bred by Svend Poulsen (1884-1974) (Denmark, 1948).
Introduced in United States by Conard-Pyle (Star Roses) in 1950 as 'Irene of Denmark'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1954 as 'Irene of Denmark'.

Bloom:
White.  Moderate fragrance.  up to 40 petals.  Average diameter 3".  Medium, full (26-40 petals), cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Pointed buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  Dark green foliage.  

Height: up to 30" (up to 75cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot .
