Introduced in United States by Certified Nurseries in 2002 as 'Golden Age'.

Hybrid Tea.  

Yellow, ages to cream .  Mild fragrance.  26 to 40 petals.  Average diameter 4.5".  Large, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, classic hybrid tea bloom form.  Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season.  

Medium, bushy.  Large, glossy, medium green foliage.  

Height: 2' to 6' (60 to 185cm).  Width: 4" (10cm).

USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Can be used for cut flower or garden.  Plant in partial shade for best color.  Disease susceptibility: disease resistant.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .  

Golden Age can be grown One Bloom Per Stem for an excellent Exhibition Hybrid Tea, or as a beautiful spray (by removing the terminal bud when it first appears). In either case the rose will turn from yellow to snow white giving the garden an ever changing appearance.

A distinguishing feature of 'Golden Age' is that it turns snow white when it is fully open so you can actually have two different colored roses on the same bush... a yellow 1-3 open and a white fully open. Golden Age has two "sister" seedlings Christmas Card and Doris Reese
