Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1863 as 'Dr. Juillard'.

Carmine-pink, violet shading.  Mild, sweet fragrance.  Average diameter 3.75".  Large, very double bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Rounded buds.

Armed with thorns / prickles, climbing.  Dark green foliage.  3 to 5 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
