Russet Floribunda, Hybrid Tea.Registration name: Julia's Rose
Russet. [Cream.] Unusual colouring of cream, caramel and peach.. Mild fragrance. 20 to 22 petals. Average diameter 4". Double (17-25 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Dark green foliage.
Height of 2' to 42" (60 to 105 cm). Width of 18" to 3' (45 to 90 cm).
USDA zone 7b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders or garden. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
says this rose is named for Lady Julia Clements. Often confused in commerce with 'Café' (Foliage is different: Young shoots of 'Julia's Rose' are reddish, mature leaves dark green).

'Julia's Rose' was "found" as "Pashley Manor Rose" and re-introduced for a short period as 'Chocolate Rose'.
