Bred by Mauget (France, 1849).
Class:
Damask Perpetual, Hybrid Perpetual.
Bloom:
Crimson, deep scarlet. Average diameter 2.75". Medium, full (26-40 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles. Large, reddish-purple foliage. 5 leaflets.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
