'Katharina Zeimet'  Shorter   White     Remontant P4   H1    *
A little plant of great refinement; the double white flowers are carried daintily apart, and  shown against leaves darker than in most of the class. It was introduced in 1901, and  survived in most  collections of Polyanthas until the class succumbed to the success of Floribundas. The stems are thin, the flowers fragrant. Peter Lambert of  Trier raised it from 'Etoile de Mai' x 'Marie Pavie', both of them Polyantha. It was popular in the United  States, under the name 'White Baby Rambler'.
