Bred by Ralph S. Moore (United States, 1970).
Introduced in Australia by Roy H. Rumsey Pty. Ltd. in 1970 as 'Kathy'.
Introduced in United States by Sequoia Nursery, Moore Miniature Roses Historic Archive in 1972 as 'Kathy'.
Class:
Miniature.  
Bloom:
Red, ages to darker.  Moderate fragrance.  Average diameter 1.25".  Small, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters bloom form.  Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, bushy, few or no prickles/thorns, rounded, well-branched.  Small, semi-glossy, dense, leathery foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for container rose, cut flower or garden.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
