Article by Phil Schorr explains in detail the history of how three roses, Nicole, Hannah Gordon and Glenda Marie, have been confused in commerce in the United States for almost 20 years. Nicole is a modest two to three foot, petals white with a soft pink edge, roughly 35 petals. Hannah Gordon is vigorous grower to 7 feet, petals with with a strong dark pink to light red edge, roughly 20 petals, with yellow stamens. Glenda Marie, a sport of Hannah Gordon, is also a vigorous grower like Nicole, white with a shrimp pink petal edge but with dark stamens. Edmunds may have sold Glenda Marie as Nicole.
