p119 Peter Bamber. Final Analysis 2006.
'Reflections' (SIMrefs) Simpson 1998: Garden rating 8.1, Exhibition rating 8.3: 75 reports on 107 bushes. From New Zealand's leading hybridist, Nola Simpson, comes a super rose. As can be seen from the ratings, this porcelain pink floribunda gets the green light from all over the country. If it has a fault, the repeat in some areas seems a bit on the slow side. Great in the garden, and on the show bench for large and small stems, and last for ages in a vase. But for health and garden appeal this rose takes some beating - a must have.

p47. David Ruston. .... at Ken and Joan Turner's at Whangarei. We had all fallen for Nola Simpson's 'Reflections' at both the Hamilton and Auckland shows and here again it was magnificent - huge trusses of well spaced flowers of a lovely soft pink colour and great substance.
....Then on to keen exhibitors Derrol and Helen White.....and a border of 'Reflections' made us all green with envy.

p113 Peter Bamber. Review of the Newer Roses for the 2004-2005 Season. Floribundas. 'Reflections' (SIMrefs) Simpson 1998: Garden rating 8.1, Exhibition rating 8.4. 26 bushes, 14 reports. Disease resistant: Light fragrance: Medium height: Porcelain pink flowers. Waikato - great pink floribunda, very healthy, large and small heads. Northland says it is a great rose, should be in every garden. Small and large stems for showing. Moutere Hills - lovely rose, good colour, repeat a little slow, good form. Large heads for exhibiting, would plant more if had space. Another Waikato grower calls this rose the best we've bought in the last 20 years. Excellent foliage, colour and in the garden. Also from Waikato, lovely stems for exhibitors, downy mildew can bother it. Feilding find it always in bloom and plenty of them. Pretty colour that blends in well with other flowers.

p31 Stuart Pinfold. Favourite Exhibiting Roses. Large Roses. Large Stem. 'Reflections' consistently produces many large stems over the season. These high quality heads require little or no attention before a show. Great form and the bonus is the shell pink blooms have a delightful fragrance.

p113 Peter Bamber. review of the Newer Roses for the 2003-2004 Season. Hybrid Teas. 'Reflections' (SIMrefs) Simpson 1998: Garden rating 8.0, Exhibition rating 8.1: 40 bushes, 22 reports. Disease resistant: Light fragrance: Medium height: Porcelain pink flowers. B.O.P - nice salmon pink flowers that come in clusters; needs staking; slow to repeat. Feilding - loads of flowers and a pretty colour; keeps flowering. Northland - had some very good small and large stems including a champion large stem; a great rose. Manawatu - superbly formed heads for exhibiting; upright habit. Healthy nicely toned pink of HT form. Hutt Valley - fast becoming a favourite; good flower repeat makes great show in the garden as well as the show bench. Marlborough - this is a lovely rose; good in the garden and the show bench. Healthy. Canterbury - high class flowers but repeat is slow. Otago awful pink spotting spoils this rose after bad weather. Manawatu grower reports strong growing attractive pink blend blooms which come in both large and small stems for exhibiting. Waikato says this is a very attractive rose; useful for stems. Northland - this is a delightful cultivar with beautifully formed large stems. Very tall growing in the autumn. Waikato reports unusual dusky pink colour, great in the garden and on the show bench; slow repeat. Canterbury says this wonderful rose has everything going for it; health, form, colour. Another from Manawatu - porcelain pink semi double flowers and vigorous growth which can become lax late in the season. Excellent rose.

p117 Peter Bamber. Review of the Newer Roses for the 2002-2003 Season. Floribundas.
'Reflections'. (SIMrefs) Simpson 1998: Garden rating 8.4: Exhibition rating 8.4: Disease resistant: Medium/ Tall: Porcelain pink flowers. Hutt Valley - makes lovely small or large stems of soft salmon pink. Waikato bushes taking a while to establish; needs some spraying. Canterbury - a healthy rose, magnificent large stems. Bay of Plenty is disappointed; blooms lack substance. Repeat is slow. Northland - health on one bush not great, new bush is alright. Good repeat, lot of blooms. Marlborough - blooms last for ages in a vase. Northland - vigorous growth and gets leggy in Autumn. Canterbury - excellent plant. Only fault is slow repeat and late flowering. Manawatu - vigorous, healthy, one of the best for garden and show.
