'Petite de Terre Franche' rose Description

Bloom:
Light pink. Moderate, spice, sweet-pea fragrance. 10 to 15 petals. Average diameter 1.25". Small, semi-double (9-16 petals), cupped-to-flat bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Height: 39" to 9'10" (100 to 300cm). Width: up to 39" (up to 100cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Very vigorous. can be grown as a shrub. can be trained as a climber. shade tolerant. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Can be grown as a climber in mild climates. Can be pruned to maintain a shorter habit. Do not spray. Needs little care; relatively disease-free and quite hardy. Prune dead wood. Remove unproductive wood every third year or so.

The sweet pea fragrance may be very strong after a hot day. It comes from the tiny glands on the external parts of the flowers
