Bloom:
Red. Mild fragrance. 20 to 30 petals. Average diameter 3". Medium, double (17-25 petals), in small clusters, ruffled bloom form. Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.
Habit:
Bushy, dense, mounded, upright. Semi-glossy, medium green foliage. 3 to 7 leaflets.
Height: 20" to 4'1" (50 to 125cm). Width: 16" to 39" (40 to 100cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for garden or landscape. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

Clear red flowers with ruffled edges that hide the center. A combination of strength and beauty.

The new variety of Rosa hybrida landscape shrub rose plant was created at Yamhill, Oreg., U.S.A., during 1996 by artificial pollination ... The female parent (i.e., the seed parent) was the `POUlurt` varietal U.S. Plant Pat. No. 9,637). The `POUlurt` variety sometimes is known as the `Aspen` variety. The male parent (i.e., the pollen parent) was the hybrid tea `BAIlgance` variety (non-patented in the United States).
