this rose expresses back what it receives. If the light is very intense the color and blossom form does change markedly. Many faces to this rose. This is what heat does to the bloom forms.

I love this little rose. I am always rooting for it. It struggles a lil bit with mildew because of desperate aphids and their gross honeydew but I give it just a lil extra love and it gives me really nice flowers that are cartoonishly cheerful. It sends flowers always and almost never takes a break.

ZONE 6b Pennsylvania I got my band from Roses Unlimited. They send well developed plants consistently. I thought these older varieties would be disease bags but I think people just plop roses in the dirt and expect the best of them. I take the advice of a Help Me Find member in Chicago and amend soil based on the underlying pH. I firmly believe that avoiding fungal issues is directly correlated to growing in substrates that are too acidic and micronutrient poor. My native soils here are WAY TOO acidic to grow roses as the bedrock is Shale and the clay is dense and acidic. I cannot allow myself to make that mistake here or my roses won't even survive let alone thrive.
