Madame Hélène Parmentier (H.T.) produces its semi-double nasturtium-red flowers, which pale to salmon-pink with age, with the reverse of the petals of orange-yellow, on long stems from strong branching plants with large shining deep-green foliage. Madame Helene Parmentier, Pernt. (Sauvageot, 1935) carries a bloom of 15-20 petals which fades to a golden flesh pink. The foliage is good, but on present performances the variety is not outstanding.

New Roses 1937. Madame Helene Parmentier  (Pernt.  J. Sauvageot 1935). A rose of two distinct colours the interior of the petal is capucine red and orange passing to salmon-rose and the exterior is a beautiful pure golden yellow. The bud is long and opens to a fairly full flower.  Beautiful foliage and vigorous growth. 4/- each.
Blooms of 15-20 petals which fade to flesh pink with a golden suffusion.
