Hi Kim,

Quick question. How has April Moon behaved for you as a breeder? I am thinking of using it as the mother for (Rosa canina x Royal Amethyst).

Thanks in advance.

According to Kim, it is a very good breeder.

Its too late. I destroyed the mother plant, and used other self-created strains of canina hybrids :]

I live in zone 4. It had a little dieback. Most of my modern roses like the minatures, floribundas, and hybrid teas died back to the mulch line, while this one was alive much farther up. So it is probably totally hardy to zone 5.
