Introduced in Australia by Thomas Lang in 1866 as 'Madame Edouard Ory'.

Carmine-pink.  Strong fragrance.  Average diameter 2.75".  Medium, very double, borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, globular bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, upright.

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.
