Bred by Jenson (1890).
Class:
Hybrid Rugosa.  
Bloom:
White.  Large, single (4-8 petals), in small clusters bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Sends out runners, upright.  Wrinkled (rugose) foliage.  

Height: up to 4'11" (up to 150cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Very vigorous.  produces decorative hips.

Notes:
Lloyd Chapman (Trinity Farm Rose Museum) describes this rose as: 'A charming little curiosity. Ferny foliage is not particularly rugose, not many prickles, strange single lemon blooms. This is a delightful little curiosity.'
