Bred by Alexandre Bernaix (France, 1886).
Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Madame Scipion Cochet'.

Bloom:
Light pink, white shading, light yellow undertones, apricot center.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, scalloped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:

Height: up to 32" (up to 80cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
