Origin:

Bred by Samuel Darragh (1932-2019) McGredy IV (1991).
Introduced in New Zealand by Matthews Nurseries Ltd. in circa 2003 as 'Massey University'.
Introduced in United Kingdom by C & K Jones in 2004 as 'Pride of Scotland'.

Hybrid Tea.

Bloom:

Deep pink, ages to salmon-pink . Salmon-orange. None to mild, sweet fragrance. Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Medium, armed with thorns / prickles, bushy, upright. Large, matte, medium green foliage.

Height: 42" to 4' (105 to 120cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden.
