Origin:
Bred by Paul Barden (United States).
Class:
Hybrid Bracteata.
Bloom:
White and yellow.  Peachy tones, blending in pinks and yellows. Fades to white..  None to mild fragrance.  45 to 90 petals.  Average diameter 4".  Medium-large, very full (41+ petals), cluster-flowered, cupped-to-flat, old-fashioned, quartered bloom form.  Moderate, blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Medium, rounded buds.
Habit:
Short, bushy, dense.  Medium, glossy, dark green, holly-like foliage.  3 to 5 leaflets.

Height: 2' to 4' (60 to 120cm).  Width: 2' to 4' (60 to 120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 10b.  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, shrub or specimen.  Vigorous.  flowers drop off cleanly.  heat tolerant.  plant in partial shade for best color.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant, blackspot resistant, very mildew resistant.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .  Feed this rose well.  Prune lightly until this rose gets established (about two years), then prune it back by about a third..  Resist the urge to prune this rose too heavily -- it doesn't like it!.
Breeder's notes:
A low-growing rose, wider than tall with a somewhat V-shaped habit. New buds are exquisite as they open, revealing a complex swirl of peachy petals. Color intensity and hue varies with the season, often more orange in the Spring and yellower in the Fall. Although it has inherited none of the fragrance from either parent it has other merits, including the bloom form, glossy foliage and compact, elegant growth habit. Still a test variety whose future is undecided.
