Origin:
Bred by George Mander (Canada).
Class:
Floribunda.
Bloom:
Purple, white center, white reverse.  Mild fragrance.  20 to 30 petals.  Average diameter 4".  Medium, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, exhibition bloom form.  Moderate, continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  Medium buds.
Habit:
Medium, upright.  Medium, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.  3 to 5 leaflets.

Height: 3' to 40" (90 to 100cm).  Width: 15" to 20" (40 to 50cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b and warmer.  Can be used for cut flower, exhibition, garden or landscape.  Vigorous.  benefits from winter protection in colder climates.  prefers full sun.  shade tolerant.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant, blackspot resistant, mildew resistant, rust resistant.  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood..  Cut back one-half every other year.  Feed this rose well.  Needs little care; relatively disease-free and quite hardy.  Prune lightly until this rose gets established (about two years), then prune it back by about a third..  Remove spent blooms only.
Breeder's notes:
This rose is really "Purple" not just mauve ! SEE PHOTOS which are true to color !
