Can anyone comment on the black spot resistance of this rose in a rainy climate? Also the shrub shape?

I'm in California zone 10b; we are on restricted water and many days over 75 degrees. This rose is one of the few thriving under such conditions. It is much better than other English roses I have. It may be in some afternoon shade. The bloom starts out red then ages to purple. Mine spreads, about 4 ft. tall and almost as wide. Give it horizontal space.

Zone 8a North Texas. One of my favorite Austins. I have the own root and it’s vigorous and blooming all the time. Slight black spot but not terrible and no other issues (no rust or powdery mildew, does not ball in rain). Not much scent detected as others noted. Makes a pretty shrub. The blooms don’t last long but that has been the issue with most Austins in my opinion.
