My plant looks like the antique nursery ad, it is a small plant that's very tender to cold, perfect warm weather is best. The blooms are very small, and pale pink, in average temperatures, it has a faint clove-baby powder scent. Hopefully it will like being in full sun, I might be able to keep more than 3 canes on it.

Tiny tiny blooms of lilac pink, Cliff Orent had the original-the first polyantha; Mountain Mignonette's pictures show an open single bloom. Mignonette's blooms are less than 1/2 inch, and fade to white. They are not fragrant, but the rose blends well with other plants, it looks a bit like baby's breath, or a small light pink aster. The whole bush is about 2x2ft.

This is another of the roses that has "passed the test" at Longwood Gardens and is recommended by them as a rose that would do well in any garden in southeastern Pennsylvania.
