I purchased a mint julep rose bush in bare root form from Publisher's Clearing House this spring (April 2010). It has been doing quite well and just recently had the first bud bloom. Very stunning - soft pink in the center and light yellow-green on the outer petals. I don't see any other buds forming yet, but I am sure they will. So far,I have been more than pleased with this rose, which seems to have been given somewhat of a bad rap on the internet. Anyone looking to purchase this rose from PCH, don't hesitate if you have the right conditions to grow it, 6+ hours of sun, etc, just like any other hybrid rose bush.
