Discovered by Miss Alice Hunt (Canada, 1925).
Introduced in Canada by Percy H. Wright in 1936 as 'Woodrow'.

Bloom:

Light pink. 60 petals. Average diameter 1.5". Very double bloom form. Occasional repeat later in the season.

Habit:

Suckers on its own roots.

Height: 1' to 18" (30 to 45cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 2b through 8b. Very hardy. very vigorous. Disease susceptibility: susceptible to rust .

This information was emailed to us: Discovered by Miss Alice Hunt about 1925 near Woodrow, Saskatchewan, and introduced by Percy Wright. The flowers are so double that it produces very little pollen.
