'Mrs. Oakley Fisher'. Large-flowered. ‘Mrs. Oakley Fisher’ is one of the most delightful of all the delightful single-flowered large-flowered roses that were fashionable in the 1920’s. The buds are deep orange, opening to apricot-yellow flowers that are quite fragrant. The bush is vigorous, usually blooming in clusters, and the foliage dark green. The raisers were Cants of Colchester, in 1921. Parentage unknown. Repeat flowering. Fragrant.

p148. 'Mrs. Oakley Fisher'. HT Deep orange-yellow. 2 and a half feet (O.8m) 1921. Raised by B. R. Cant, England. Still reasonably vigorous after half a century, this charming single rose has deep orange-yellow flowers which are fragrant and admirably complemented by the glossy bronzed foliage. Flowers over a long season.
