Bred by Antoine Levet (père) (France, 1876).
Introduced in Australia by Law, Somner Pty. Ltd. in 1886 as 'Mademoiselle Marie Berton'.

Bloom:
Light yellow, ages to cream .  Moderate fragrance.  Very large, double (17-25 petals), globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Climbing.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Dedicated to the daughter of a friend in Lyon of the breeder.
