Parentage: Seedling x ´Desireé´
A shrub of medium height (0.7 meters) with light green, semi-glossy foliage, resistant to the cold. Bud and elegant blossom on long, practically thorn-free shoots. The involuted and slim bud slowly opens into a coral-white shape. Long-lasting, full and fragrant blossom (42–44 petals) is light pink-coral with various, irregular white stripes. This rose was hybridized in honor of Slovak native Alexander Dubček (1921–1992) of Uhrovec, an important figure in “Prague Spring” – the reform movement of the revival process and struggle for a political system with a human face - holder of an honorary doctorate degree from Bologna University in Italy, which was granted while his country was still under the communist dictatorship.
