Origin:
Bred by Antoine A. Jacques (France, before 1829).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1873 as 'Leopoldine d'Orléans'.
Class:
Hybrid Noisette, Hybrid Sempervirens.  
Bloom:
Light pink.  Mild fragrance.  Average diameter 2".  Medium, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form.  
Habit:
Climbing.  Glossy foliage.  5 leaflets.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Parentage:
If you know the parentage of this rose, or other details, please contact us.
Notes:
Earliest literature differentiates between 'Adélaide' (white) and 'Léopoldine' (pink), which might point to that these were originally close siblings. In later years, these two Roses seem to have been mixed up and considered synonymous.
