Bred by Louis Lens (1924-2001) (Belgium, before 1988).

Class:

Hybrid Rugosa, Species Cross.

Bloom:

Dark red. Wine-red. Moderate fragrance. Medium, single (4-8 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form.

Habit:

Bushy, upright. Medium, glossy foliage. 7 to 9 leaflets.

Growing:

USDA zone 6b and warmer.
