Introduced in France by Grandes Roseraies du Val de la Loire in 1924 as 'Regina de Alvéar'.

White, light pink center, light yellow undertones.  Mild fragrance.  Medium, double (17-25 petals), globular, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long buds.

Upright.  Large, dark green foliage.

Regina Isabel Luisa Pacini Quintero (January 6, 1871 Lisbon - September 18, 1965 Buenos Aires), Portuguese lyric soprano, married the Argentine politician Marcelo Torcuato de Alvear in 1907 and became First Lady of Argentina in 1922.
