See Member Comments tab for discussion of parentage. It is almost certain that the pollen parent is a rugosa, perhaps a pinkish sport of Rosa rugosa regeliana (per information in member comment, the pollen parent of his 'White Surprise' bred at the same time), not the Meilland HT named 'La Rosée'.
