Origin:
Bred by Mathias Tantau, Jr. (1912 - 2006) (Germany, 1955).
Introduced in Germany by Rosen-Tantau/Tantau Roses in 1956 as 'Baby Masquerade'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in before 1958 as 'Baby Maskerade'.
Introduced in France by NIRP International in 1964 as 'Baby Masquerade'.
Class:
Miniature, Patio.  
Bloom:
Golden-yellow to lemon-yellow, ages to rose-red .  Mild, apple, fruity fragrance.  20 to 25 petals.  Average diameter 1.25".  Small, double (17-25 petals), open bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Bushy.  Leathery foliage.  

Height: 8" to 18" (20 to 45cm).  Width: up to 15" (up to 40cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
