PRINCESS ADELAIDE. (Moss Rose.) Moss roses are distinguished from all others by the moss-like substance which surrounds the flowers, and a peculiar scent which is not easy to describe on paper. Nearly every one wants two or three of these in a collection for the flowers are much sought after while in bud for boquets. Princess Adelaide is one of the best in this color and is beautiful either in bud or fully expanded flower. Prune rather closely and remove all weakly shoots and give high culture.
