This is the first time that I took a photo of a fully open bloom.
It is also the first time that the blooms colour came out perfect.

A newly "budded" plant. (not own root for a change)
I used a white background for the first time. Now look at next image with a "BLACK" background.
Maybe the white background looks better ? |

I could not resist to add this one. Taken with my new Olympus C-4040 Digital camera with a flash. It turned out a bit too much purple, as I did something wrong with the settings. It started to rain (you can see the first raindrops) and I was in a hurry to take this last photo. These first three images are all taken from the same bloom.

The same plant again, but this photo in cloudy weather without a flash. |
Taken with my older Nikon COOLPIX 800. This taken with flash which brings out more of the cream colour like it would in full sun. The purple should be much darker. |

Finally, my first photos of 'Purple Sunset' taken in cloudy weather with the new "C-4040 Olympus" Digital Camera. This photo is close to true colour !
