'C. paniculata Gmelin' clematis Description

Class:
Early Small Flowered, Evergreen, Group 1, Species.
Bloom:
White, yellow stamens. Moderate, sweet fragrance. 6 to 8 petals. Average diameter 3". Medium, single, clusters, semi-nodding, star-shaped bloom form. Early-to-midspring.
Habit:
Dark foliage. 3 leaflets. Height of 10' to 14½' (305 to 440 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b through 9b. Needs a warm, frost-free situation. Plant in soil that drains well. Slow to establish. No pruning required.
