Bred by Gareth Fryer (1948-....) (United Kingdom, 2008).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Fryer's Roses/Fryer's Nurseries Ltd. in 2008 as 'Moody Blue'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Purple to mauve, ages to lilac.  Strong fragrance.  Double (17-25 petals), classic hybrid tea, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:

Height: 31" (80cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for garden.  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
