Discovered by Dietrich & Turner (United States, 1913).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1925 as 'Ramona'.
Class:
Hybrid Laevigata, Shrub.  
Bloom:
Carmine-red, ages to pink.  5 petals.  Average diameter 4".  Single (4-8 petals) bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Height of up to 10' (up to 305 cm).  Width of up to 8' (up to 245 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
