Bred by Walter Schowalter (Canada, circa 1965).
Class:
Shrub.  
Bloom:
A good Red.  Average diameter 2.5".  Small to medium, double (17-25 petals), cupped, globular bloom form.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  
Breeder's notes:
Therese Bugnet type leaves. Long stems, open, branching, graceful. Not many thorns. Blooms double, open globed or cupped to 2 1/2 " . Opens in color between Alika and Hansa, becoming a good red. [WS notes]

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
OP seedling of 'George will' x (probably) 'Alika'.
