Another very recent Floribunda is 'Banjaran'. The name means a gypsy woman, and the brilliant res-and-gold colours of this rose are a tribute to the colourful Indian gypsies.

Banjaran F (IIIC) yb (Dr. B. P. Pal; int. K.S.G. Son '69) 'Roman Holiday' x unknown. Small, long pointed buds. Small, gold and orange-red blend, double, cupped blooms borne several together and in clusters on long, strong stems. Good lasting quality. Slight fragrance. Normal, leathery, medium foliage. Vigorous, upright growth. Abundant continuous blooming.
