Registration name: Rostock
Origin:
Bred by Wilhelm J.H. Kordes II (1891-1976) (Germany, 1937).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1939 as 'Rostock'.
Class:
Hybrid Musk.  
Bloom:
Apricot and salmon-pink, yellow undertones.  Mild fragrance.  Double (17-25 petals), in large clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, well-branched.  

Height: up to 4' (up to 120cm).  Width: up to 6' (up to 185cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 10b.  Can be used for garden, landscape, shrub or specimen.  Prune lightly or not at all.  Resist the urge to prune this rose too heavily -- it doesn't like it!.
