Introduced in United States by Armstrong Nursery as 'Roundelay'.

Bloom:
Dark red.  Moderate, tea fragrance.  38 petals.  Average diameter 3.5".  Medium-large, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, high-centered bloom form.  Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles.  Glossy, dark green, leathery foliage.  
Height of 39" to 4' (100 to 120 cm).  Width of up to 3' (up to 90 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Very vigorous.
