White. Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), in small clusters, flat bloom form. Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.

Habit:

Bushy, upright. Wrinkled (rugose) foliage.

Height: 4' to 6' (120 to 185cm). Width: 4' to 6' (120 to 185cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 3a through 9b. Can be used for hedge. Hardy. drought resistant. produces decorative hips. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.

The parentage as reported by Wilhelm Kordes based on oral information from Peter Lambert. The seed parent was a white Polyantha. The parentage R. rugosa x R. bracteata is deemed incorrect.
