Origin:
Discovered by Jean-Pierre Vibert (France, 1849).
Class:
Hybrid Bourbon, Portland.  
Bloom:
Crimson, violet shading.  Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  
Notes:
Listed as china and hybrid bourbon/hybrid perpetual(portland with similar descriptions. Possibly two different cultivars.
'Dembrowski' currently in gardens and commerce does not confirm to the original descriptions and is mislabeled.
