'69-03-23' rose Description

Bloom:
Starts out a bright scarlet-orange and fades to a pinkish red with age.. None / no fragrance. 9 to 12 petals. Average diameter 1.5". Small to medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), in large clusters, flat to cupped bloom form. Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season. Small, rounded buds.
Habit:
Medium, upright, well-branched. Small, semi-glossy, medium green foliage. 3 to 7 leaflets.
Height: 4' to 6' (120 to 185cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b and warmer. Very hardy. vigorous. Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot , very mildew resistant, very rust resistant.
Breeder's notes:
This is a bright orange-red sibling to 'Jeri Jennings'. It has less vigor and a less attractive growth habit, and so it has not been considered for commercial release, but it may end up being employed in breeding.
