Bred by André Dupont (Du Pont) (France, before 1810).
Introduced in Australia by Camden Park in 1850 as 'Alba nova Celestis'.
Class:
Alba.  
Bloom:
White, light blue highlights, pink undertones.  Strong fragrance.  Average diameter 2".  Medium, full (26-40 petals), in small clusters, cupped-to-flat, reflexed bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Large foliage.  

Height: up to 5' (up to 150cm).
