Bred by Hans Jürgen Evers (Germany, 2007).
Introduced in Germany by Rosen-Tantau/Tantau Roses in 2007 as 'Askot'.

Class:

Hybrid Tea, Shrub.

Bloom:

Flowers red, shaded violet and purple. [Violet and red.]. Moderate, tea rose fragrance. Average diameter 4.75". Full (26-40 petals), cupped, globular, old-fashioned bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Short, compact, dense.
Height of 0.0625' to 1" (2 to 3 cm). Width of up to 18" (up to 45 cm).

Growing:

Can be used for beds and borders or container rose.

"Dicht und niedrig kompakt wachsende Nostalgie®-Edelrose mit auffallend ballförmigen und nostalgisch gefüllten Blumen. Die sich langsam öffnenden voiolett-purpurfarbigen Blüten haben einen schönen Edelrosenduft. Wuchshöhe ca. 70 cm."

Verwendung: Beete und kleine Gruppen, Kübelbepflanzungen.
