Bloom:
Red. None to mild fragrance. 5 to 8 petals. Average diameter 3". Medium-large, single (4-8 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters bloom form. Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season. Medium buds.
Habit:
Medium, armed with thorns / prickles, bushy, compact, mounded, spreading, well-branched. Medium, semi-glossy, dark green, attractive fall color foliage. Height of 3' to 5' (90 to 150 cm).
Growing:
Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, garden, hedge, landscape, rock garden, shrub or specimen. Hardy. vigorous. can be grown as a shrub. heat tolerant. requires full sun for best color. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant, very blackspot resistant., very mildew resistant. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection). Can be pruned to maintain a shorter habit. Needs little care; relatively disease-free and quite hardy. Remove spent blooms only.

Name, 'Miracle on the Hudson', chosen to honor the heroic Captain, crew and passengers of US Airways Flight 1549 survivors of possibly the most miraculous and successful emergency landing aviation history.

Excellent own-root vigor and excellent petal substance. Blossoms semi-double in cooler conditions.
Hardiness untested but likely to zone 5, possibly lower.
