Introduced in United Kingdom by Charles Turner in 1912 as 'Geoffrey Henslow'.
Bloom:
Crimson - scarlet. Moderate fragrance. Double (17-25 petals), exhibition bloom form.
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

Different opinions on parentage - see References. Thomas Geoffrey Wall Henslow (1878 - ?), author of the "Rose Encylopaedia" and other gardening books, poet, editor, curate of Chippenham, rector of Stanton St. Quintin.
